Preg tested heifers. A visually even run of heifers that had a small tail removed on weight at Assessment. These heifers were purchased at Werribee 14/8/2020.
The heifers have been joined to Matoni M5 M7 M9
These heifers will be delivered as a run of 50 and a run of 70 out the gate. We will then visually make sure the 2 lots are even as per assessment. The 120 head were assessed and average weight 462.8 kg. The weight range was 400 - 602kg, The next heaviest were 540kg .
7 Heifers in the 120 were observed to have very small dots in one eye only and 2 were observed to have a slight Ginger colour from possible copper deficiency that they will grow out of. 8 Heifers were observed to have slight white behind the naval.
An opportunity to purchase heifers that have been well handled and joined to good LBW bulls to calve for a early calving allowing the heifers to be joined up for a normal spring calving
