71 x 71 VGQ Vendor Bred Shorthorn/Droughtmaster Cows & Calves. Majority Exhibit Very Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their breed & age. They have Good Feet, Tidy Heads, are Quiet & come from a Highly Regarded Herd. The Cows are all Young No.1's & No.0's on their first calf. They have not been culled out of the main line, Vendors have simply joined some of their Heifers to Angus Bulls to market as PTIC's or Cows & Calves. The Calves are 3 - 14 weeks old & are by VGQ "Ardrossan" Angus Bulls to average 126 kg. The Cows have been rejoined to the same bulls since early July. There are 43 Bull Calves & 28 Heifer Calves. There are 7 Cows with Flybite Rub Marks & 1 Heifer Calf with half a tail (birth defect, see last photo). Verastan has a handful of Prickly Acacia Trees.
