Cows are typical of cattle running in larger pastoral conditions, they are well handled, worked well through the yards and are quiet to handle in the paddock and on waters.
Typically some cows did stir up in the yard when placed under pressure or there calves were pressured.
These cows know there way through the yards very well and handle the weighing and drafting process very well. Overall they are well handled cows that know the drill.

A fair mob of cast for age Cows & Calves. The vendor acquired the cows & calves when they purchased Adelong in 2019, the previous owner had purchased a line of grey brahman cows from Bowie Station, Pentland as well as several other mixed mobs from Blackall Sale, these cows & calves and the vendors other line of 85 Station mated cows offered in this sale represent the last of the breeders from the property purchase.
Vendor reports the cows have always preformed well and produced good calves yearly, they have been joined to Red Brahman bulls since December 2024
This mob offers a good trading opportunity with excellent quality calves at foot and the balance of the cows to fatten. The cows have been in hand for several days prior to assessment having been walked from other yards to the house yards and held so expect plenty of weight gain from delivery, they will do very well coming off light desert type country.

Previous owner purchased a large draft of grey brahman cows ex Bowie Station, Pentland as well as other lines of breeder type cows.
