Majority of cattle are score 1's with a small percentage being score 2's. Buyers please note there are 7 cows that are plainer in condition that others due to the size of weaners on them(see photos) and appropriate trucking procedures will need to be in place for long distance travel.

Cattle were very good to handle with only a small percentage becoming agitated in the crush whilst being weighed and mouthed. Once back in the mob the cattle settled. Cattle were very slow and steady through yards and were a pleasure to handle.

Buyers on offer are 71 Santa cows and calves with 22 head being PTIC back to Angus bulls 1-3 months at assessment. All calves are sired by Santa bulls, with the calves averaging 155kg at assessment. This is your chance to secure good quality cow and calf units to put back to a bull of your choice or to fatten and split units, and take calves through to feeder or bullock weights. Please note 1 cow with capped hip, 3 cows with fly rub around eyes, 1 cows with blight (not detrimental), 1 cow bottle teats (photo attached) 1 cow with rolled tail. These units are an ideal buy for buyers with plenty of feed or an oats crop looking to finish off cattle due to the fact that there will be plenty of compensatory weight gain on the cows. Cows are doing a tremendous job on the calves as you will see in the video and photos.* buyers please not vendor has another lot in sale sale*.
