Overall an exceptional mob of cows to handle in the yards, race and weigh box. The cows have previously been run in an intensive cell grazing operation and since at Latrobe on agistment in a large scale rotation grazing program. The cows moved through the yards quietly and with ease, looking for a gate yet required minimal steadying or blocking, they were generally calm and self controlled. They had been handled three times by assessment yet were patient and respectful.

Assessor Comments
**Organic eligibility for the calves** Latrobe is Organic accredited - with the cows and previous progeny grown in an Organic certified program at Bokhara Plains. Very good frame cows PTIC to calve mid March 24 (tested early September) in a 50 day joining window - Depastured with Pharo Australia Angus bulls. A great disposition and easy temperament when handled. Please view the photos to satisfy your breed interpretation given there are various purchased lines. Overall a medium age draft of good frame cows from a very productive herd - proven breeders having reared a calf each other year. All cows appear sound for udders, structure and no faults observed. Please note: the calves have organic eligibility as do some of the vendor bred cows in the three lots offered however not all cows are eligible and they are not easily identified at this time.
