Assessor Comments
Quality line of Black Angus and Angus cross, cows and Brangus calves. Offering a young line of breeders with majority on their first calf. Mostly good to fair confirmation and depth. A majority of these cows (88%) are on their first calf and have also recently returned from forest country north of Julia Creek where they were joined on vendors breeder Property. They are still showing potential to grow out frame on quality pasture after weaning. Well handled, displaying generally good temperament. These cows are tropically adapted to the northern Australian breeding country, whilst showing softness to suit a southern replacement breeder. 10% are brown/brindle. 90% black. Approx 10 cows showing white makings under belly. Approximately 2 cows in this line noted for a small blue scar on eye, and 1 minor lump under jaw, not appearing to be majorly effecting cow. Calves colour is 37 red, 22 black & 8 brown/brindle/grey. 1 displayed a twisted nose. Generally have a flat back and average 99 kg.
