Cows present in good strong store condition to forward store. Some cows weaned weaners in September and some have small calves on them.

Cows flowed well through draft and up race into crush. Odd heifer stirred a little being preg tested but other then that settled once back with mob. Cattle were drafted on a 40 degree day.

Buyers an opportunity to buy a run of medium frame genuine young breeders that are made up of 48 PTIC cows and 28 Cows & Calves. Majority of this line has Angus influence through them with balance of the line all flatback cows. Cows present in store to forward store condition and range from smaller frame cows to large frame relative to age. The 48 PTIC cows are in calf to Angus composite bulls 4 - 7.5 months & weigh from 342kg to 540kg. The 28 Units all have fresh calves 1-3 months weighing from 35kg to 145kg to avg 65kg with the 28 cows weighing from 252 to 520kg. Cows have lived on mulga country most of their life and will bound away on fresh feed. At assessment noticed 2 x cows with slight cloudy eyes but did not seem detrimental.

Grazing Conditions
Cattle have been grazing mostly on Bulloo river flood country which has consisted of native pasture and blue blush but with recent rain the last fortnight the cattle have had access to plenty of fresh feed & will continue to until delivery.
Returned to: Returned to small holding paddock of similar country with plenty of fresh feed.
