Very easy to handle in the paddock and yards, not a problem. Approximately 4 head were slightly stirry going over the scales. Small % did trot a bit on first arrival but as a mob, they were very easy to handle through the yards.

A good quality line of 77 Red Poll Cows with 72 calves. Weighed 438 kgs to 726 kgs to avg 553 kgs 3 hrs off feed. All cows have been vaccinated with 7 in 1 and Pestigard. Joining: The cows were depastured with three quality Angus Bulls from the 15th December to the 3rd March. The bulls were semen tested and evaluated prior. Also, the season was good so the conception rate should be promising. Mostly all medium to large frame for breed type with approximately 10% showing smaller frame. Calves: First calves to these cows - The fresh conditioned 72 calves weighed from 130 to 282 to avg 216 kgs. All pure Red Poll, bar 6 Angus/Red Poll Cross. 33 heifers and 39 steers, all branded on the 3/1/26. 5 early calves were weaned. This is a fantastic opportunity to buy good quality young breeders that have been back to the Angus bulls with a 200 + kg avg calf at foot. NB 4 head with some pink eye in one eye, all treatable! Small % with Buffalow fly scaring around eyes and one on the neck.
