The majority of the score one cows are strong although there are approximately 7 of them which are in backward store condition which needs to be taken into account if trucking long distance.

Cows are excellent to handle in the yards with good movement. They also move well through the crush and exited smoothly although some became agitated during the mouthing process which is normal. All stock are worked using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques and are used to being grazed in single wire grazing cells.

Assessor Comments
Mixed breed cows including Angus, Droughtmaster and their crosses with Angus sired calves at foot. Essentially good to very good quality with a range of frame with 30% large to very large down to 5% small frame. The lighter smaller frame cows are mostly young Angus cows which have done it tough since calving. Every effort has been made to ensure all cows are sound, although the older cows among them show the normal amount of wear and tear in line with their age and productivity. The calves at foot are by good quality Angus bulls. They are in good order and still going ahead. There are older calves in the line which have been or are close to being weaned, hence the 3 extra calves in the line. The cows have been running with Angus bulls up until 11/05/26. They have all been run in a cell grazing operation and are familiar with electric fences. Note the 8 male calves can be ringed prior to delivery if requested.
