The vendors are moving away from a cow calf breeding program after many years in this system. These cows have been a pleasure to have since weaners and have grown into great cows. They have always produced a calf and have always calved unassisted. Last years calves were only taken off these cows 2 weeks ago and its a credit to them how well they have held their condition thru a tough enough summer and autumn, the calves have weaned off at 300kgs, with the cows back in calf to the same sire as those calves. Please note vendor also has 12 Hereford cows in the same sale with the same credentials to make a line of 20.
