Paddock
Quiet: 8 head
Heifers were extensively fed through the challenging Autumn/Winter period, and as a result are very quiet to handle in the paddock in close proximity. They were a bit anxious in the yards/crush and stepping onto the Aluminium scales, doing some jumping about, and rushing out of the crush when the gate was opened. All settled again once let back into the yard.

Assessor Comments
Nice lot of young Heifers doing an excellent job as first time mums. After a very tough start to the year, these Heifers have done a commendable job bringing their calves on so well. Poddies are all fresh, bright eyed and dropping their Winter Woolies, developing a healthy shine on their backs. Lovely heifers that would have been retained, and are only offered for sale due to majority of paddocks being cut for hay this year, and having very few stubbles to run on this year, as well as some dams still looking quite thirsty. Ideal line of Heifers & calves to split, with the 237kg poddies offering a good early rebate, and a PTIC Heifer to go either way with. Buyers please Note. Heifers were in backward store condition when purchased, and as a result, there is a broken joining period. 4 PTIC to the SimAngus Sire (Autumn Calving), and 4 PTIC to the White Shorthorn Sire (potential blue roan poddies(Late Autumn/Winter Calving))
