Being the second time through the race after preg testing, these heifers were a little more unsettled than usual but can be forgivin. Not stirry, just unsettled on the weigh platform and quicker than normal to leave the crush. Normally these heifers are very settled and are well handled. Temperament of the Jagumba cattle is typically very good being worked with dogs and horses.

PTIC Santa Heifers that are in calf to an Angus Bull to commence calving Jan/ Feb 2023. These have been run out in the hills in the Kosciuocko National Park at the vendors breeding block "Jagumba" on mostly native country having recently being bought down onto the lower country at Tooma for preg testing and marketing. They have grown out well, with a good frame, and in store conditon weighing 379kg (338-439kg). The young females should provide a valuable black calf that will make a very good trade proposition to calve down and fatten or could be retained. Realisitically reserved.
