The majority of the cows were easy to handle throughout the drafting and weighing process, with 1 cow becoming agitated while being drafted and weighed. Calves were similarly very quiet and easy to handle during the assessment process.

Offering 8x8 Charolais infused Cows and Calves on behalf of Jonothan Keys of Springhurst. Cows were purchased out of NVLX Barnawartha Store Sales and Wangaratta Blue Ribbon Feature Sale Ex R & E Ackland of Greta South. The majority of the cows are in their prime of their lives being 4 to 5 years old and have been re-depastured to a Violet Hills sire for 74 days (the same sire as the calves). The bull was re-introduced on the 13th of November for a week. These soft bodied, well-mannered cows are in their prime and are doing a magnificent job with their sappy 7- to 8-month-old calves. The calves present with loose skin and average 324kgs showing good weight for age. With 6 of the 8 calves being heifers, this allows the purchaser to retain the heifers to join when they reach joinable weights or take on to feed and grow out for export or feeder jobs.
