Heifers were assessed straight after mustering, became agitated when pressure was applied, settled when released into larger yard, would rush at gateways, but would bloke when needed. Buffalo flies were bad at assessment which may have added to the unsettled behaviour.

A Line of Cross bred Heifers with their first Angus CAF and have been running back with an Angus Bull. At assessment they weighed from 338-404kg full to average 364kg, with a projected delivery average of 346kg. The 8 Calves averaged 96kg and consisted of 2 males and 6 females. The Cows present in a strong store condition with fresh calves at foot. A large amount of buffalo flies were on the cows at assessment which caused them to be agitated, they were treated with brute pour on and will be retreated if required prior to delivery. Please note a sister line of PTIC cows in same sale.
