Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a great opportunity to purchase 67 excellent quality Angus x Angus cows and 14 Vendor bred EU Shorthorn Cows all with an Angus calf at foot. The Angus cows were purchased out of the south 12 months ago as they have over 30 years of Dunoon & Rennylea bloodlines. At assessment these cows weighed 439 - 654kg FULL to average 549kg FULL. The vendors have used JT Angus Stud bulls which is based off Millah Murrah bloodlines. These bulls were selected for their strong 2/4/600 growth, docility, positive fat, red meat and carcass yield optimising the end products eating quality. Please note there are 67 Angus females when mouthed ranged from 4-8 teeth and all with sound mouths. There are also 14 Vendor bred EU Short cows, cows that were mouthed also ranged from 4-6 teeth. ALL calves at foot are EU accredited as well if the successful purchased wishes to keep them in the system. The Shorthorn cows are Turanville based bloodlines with over 20 years of their genetics. It really is a regretful sale with the drier conditions heading into winter, these cattle have plenty of breeding behind them and plenty of time ahead of them. Great widespread rain presenting an exciting opportunity to purchase 6 decks of proven breeders. Plenty of options for the successful buyer with calves already on the ground. Can split and fatten the cows for a spring kill or retain as breeding units. ***PLEASE NOTE THESE CALVES ARE NOT MARKED***
