Heifers handled well in a familiar surrounding. Any persons with good cattle handling skills would have no issues with these heifers. They are cattle that take time to settle down but once the time is taken for them to let their run out they become quiet comfortable as seen in the videos. Cattle on Wandeen are run in large paddocks and in big mobs and in-turn they have run in them and are flighty, but in no way aggressive. Call assessor for any more information on temperament.

Assessor Comments
On offer is an outstanding line of Shorthorn heifers rising 2 year old, PTIC to LBW high indexing Bongongo Angus Bulls. Heifers will commence calving early March for 10 weeks. Lease Angus bulls are used annually in the Wandeen program for their first calvers and these particular bulls are selected by the stud principal at Bongongo. This article is a credit to the vendors and is an excellent representation of the Shorthorn breed. These are classed in breeders that would not normally be offered for sale and is a great opportunity for anyone to infuse these sort after genetics into an existing herd or be the foundation for a new one. The progeny of the females from Wandeen are highly sort after by local backgrounders and major feedlots for their growth, capacity and overall performance. Heifers have up to date husbandry practices, are in ideal calving order and are not far off the point of calving. They represent great value and come highly recommended.
