Cows are typical of cattle running in larger pastoral conditions, they are well handled, worked well through the yards and are quiet to handle in the paddock and on waters. Typically some cows did stir up in the yard when placed under pressure or away from there mates. These cows know there way through the yards very well and handle the weighing and drafting process very well. Overall they are well handled cows that know the drill.

Assessor Comments
A fair mob of cast for age station mated store Cows. The vendor acquired the cows when they purchased Adelong in 2019, the previous owner having purchased these cows and the vendors other sale line of 71 Cows & Calves offered in this sale, they represent the last of the breeders from the property purchase. Vendor reports the cows have always preformed well and produced good calves yearly, they have been joined to Red Brahman bulls since December 2024, there will be some cows identified with an orange ear tag that were vendor tested in calf September 2024 due to calve Jan - June 2025 This mob offers a good trading opportunity to calve out or fatten, the cows have been in hand for several days prior to assessment having been walked from other yards to the house yards and held, so expect plenty of compensatory weight gain from delivery, they will do very well coming off light desert type country.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
