This is the second of 5 lots offered in this sale by the vendor. The cattle are bought in primarily to feed on, however some may have been bought in as PTIC. Some heifers are identified as pregnant on the farm and removed to calve down. As the cattle are bought in, we cannot guarantee the provenance of breeding on either the cows or the calves, so all descriptions are best guess. These cows have been running with a Black Limousin bull, and as 4 calves are from 140 to 278kg, there is no reason some will not be back in calf.
This lot were drafted out as the older Angus types, and are assumed to be second to fourth calvers, four were mouthed and found to be solid full mouths.
The cattle are in store condition running on short feed and hay, and represent a good trading opportunity and will be priced accordingly. Given room and feed there is no reason they shouldn't go ahead.
1 cow and one calf have a blue eye, and 1 cow has a slight long toe , see photos.
