Paddock
Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Typical Bos Indicus infused heifers that stir easily when pressure is applied and relax quickly once released. Heifers flowed through yards well when allowed to constantly feed through crush. When in bigger yard heifers were calm and we could easily walk through for photos and videos. Vendor notes once in paddock heifers were calm and good to handle and started feeding off when blocked up.

Assessor Comments
A line of principally flat back, cross bred station mated heifers that have been continuously joined to a Te Mania blood Angus Bull since February. Heifers present in predominately store to forward store condition and have characteristics typically found in Northern Australia where they were purchased in 2020. Buyers are presented with options to further background, sell PTIC or keep joined to bull of choice. Most heifers became stirry when pressured in race and crush but settled well in larger yard. One calf at foot (to be included) with two heifers showing to be further along in calf than others. Fit to load procedures will be followed at loading. Two heifers noticed with dog bites on hind leg.
