Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The cows flowed well throughout the yards and were able to be worked from the ground. There was some pushing up the race and a few became agitated in the crush but settled when returning to the mob. When counting out, cows were eager to get through the gate and care needed to be taken to slow them up but would block when shown the gate.

Assessor Comments
Offering 170 x 170 Brahman cross cows and calves. The cows averaged 375kg live at assessment and are doing a great job on their calves. The calves at foot are a good line of Angus cross calves that weighed 258kg live and are all branded ready to be weaned. The cows were purchased in as heifers and are one their second calf at Kenya so have plenty of years ahead as breeders. These cows were vet preg tested at assessment and 139 head of them are back in calf PTIC 3 to 5 months to Ardrossan Angus bulls. This mob is the perfect article to split and trade on due to the size of calves or keep and calve out as all are young cows to take on as future breeders. Please note some cows sighted with fly rub, longer toes and vaccine lumps (see notable traits for detail).
