Heifers were very impressive when it came time to be weighed & assessed. Having been through the race for drenching the day before, and then preg testing just 15 minutes earlier, they had every right to be a bit stubborn/anxious as assessing, but were instead very amicable & well behaved. All stepping on the scales quietly, exiting at a walk, and being very quiet to walk amongst for photos/videos. A real credit to the patience & hard work done at yard weaning & throughout their lives since.

Out of the infamous Koojan Hills (Ex Sue Ray) & Yamba Angus (Ex Wanterbadgery Station) Cows, By Lawson & Bongongo Angus Sires, selected for IMF, EMA & those 400 & 600 day weights! Heifers with a very good weight for age (Note. 24Hrs off feed at weighing), despite grazing a bare, very steep hill & only recently receiving some hay as supplementary feeding. Out of large/very large framed breeders, these lovely, quiet young heifers have the genetic reputation to be a very rewarding investment and would be the perfect article to base your foundations breeders around. Brothers received industry recognition in the recent 2024 Beef Spectacular, placing 7th for eating quality & 4th in the AMPC National Beef carcass comp, class 5, heavy trade grain fed category! All in healthy 2 score condition, No work required - just continue ticking along for the next couple of months leading up to calving, then a quick single cycle window!
