Assessor Comments
Offering 36 X 36 first calving Angus heifers with March/April drop marked calves at foot and PTIC back to Angus sires for an Autumn 2025 calving. Calves were marked 26/08 with the bulls cut by knife (still healing) and all received a 5 in 1 vaccination and tag (21 steers and 15 heifers). Heifers were PTIC to Yundilla blood Angus sires at day of assessment from a tight 43 day joining. 100% of heifers successfully joined in the first 2 cycles, a great display of fertility. These heifers present light in condition having been on limited feed but are on the improve since arriving home from agistment and a receiving a change in diet. The calves are healthy and approaching weaning age allowing ample time to fatten their mothers pre calving, especially with the spring now upon us. Predominately vendor bred with a portion of purchased heifers in this line. Vendor is offering another run of 3 in 1 units with the same joining as this consignment in today’s sale.
