Complete herd Dispersal of the Talgarno Park Herefords. 114 PTIC Hereford Females Being offered with over 70 years of breeding behind them. If your looking for Quality Hereford breeders here they are. The Talgarno Park steers are annually sold in the Blue Ribbon weaner sales and have topped the sales on multiple occasions. With the herd classed annually for type, structure and milking.
17 2023 drop maiden heifers PTIC to a Yarawa South Poll Hereford bull. These heifers crossed the scales at 526kg after a curfew and have a 100% docile temperament giving no problems through the yards or over the crush. The Elliot family have sourced their bulls from the White Faced Sale in Wodonga in recent years, with a strong emphasis put on the type and quality of the bull. Current bulls are from Yarawa South, Warrick Court & Grathlyn Herefords with bulls used from notable breeders over the years including Began Hills, Glen Ellerslie, Emu Holes, Hillcrest & their own Talgarno Park bred bulls.

Talgarno Park has focused on breeding a typical Hereford animal, concentrating on colour, milk, weight gain and temperament. We are now dispersing the herd, due to retirement, after 70 years of breeding Hereford cattle.
