Assessor Comments
Here is a well bred line of Angus Santa cross heifers preg tested in calf to Wallangra Angus bulls. These heifers were purchased as weaners from "Broadmere" at Taroom. This is the heifers 2nd calf so have all their breeding life in front of them. These heifers are of medium frame and are ideal as breeders. These heifers are in a tight window to calve being preg tested at 8 to 16 weeks. Only one heifer was preg tested at 6 weeks in calf. They will calve in the ideal time of year. Heifers are part of a rotational grazing system so they are reguarly handled and this showed throughout the yards as the flowed through easily and with no problems. They are used to one wire electric fence grazing system. The heifers are running on forest country. These heifers are highly recommended for future breeding purposes. Please note there are 2 lots of 20 heifers in this sale. The 20 heifers will be the run of the gate from the 40 heifers
