Cows were alert in the backyards, prior to assessment, but showed no hostility when drafting. Cows became anxious to get back to their calves, following weighing, and were quick to handle but without malice.

A small line of crossbred cows and calves. Cows are in forward condition and are doing a good job on their first calves. NB one calf shows scour scalding (appears fully recovered). Cows were purchased for a grass fattening programme and were accidentally joined on the previous backgrounders property, hence the sire of the claves in subjective.
