Assessor Comments
A nice line of well grown Angus heifer & calf units, on their 1st calf. These heifers are well developed, exhibiting good frame for age & plenty of stretch. They are producing ample milk, despite limited short feed, which is evident in the very even line of BONGONGO Angus sired calves at foot, which are 2-5 weeks of age & exhibiting excellent shape at such a young age (10 steers/10 heifers). These heifers are very well bred, & are presenting in their working clothes with feed quality reduced due dry conditions, & heifers putting the calves nutritional needs above their own. Both cows & calves are set to thrive with access to more abundant fresh pastures. A great opportunity to secure a quality one-mark line of young breeders in the prime of their production, which have calved with ease to a very even drop of top quality, BONGONGO Angus sired calves at foot. With old cows currently selling well, they offer real value & an attractive change-over opportunity into younger breeders.
