Several Heifers became anxious when separated from their calves and remonstrated in the Yards and Crush but settled down perfectly well once reunited in the paddock.

A quality line of very well bred, Pure Red Angus Heifers with AI bred, Red Angus Calves at foot. Purchased from a Red Angus herd established in the late 1990's by the Heggen Family, based on Ebony Lodge Females. Vendor elected to use AI to continue the Pure Red Angus breeding line. These heifers are of good frame and generally in Fwd. Store to Prime condition. They have been running on low lying, wet country that is now drying up and the Cattle are starting to hit their straps. The Calves are sappy as the photos and videos should illustrate. Note; One Charolais Cross Bull Calf and another Calf that has bare skin around tail and legs due to scalding from scours. ( see photo ). Previous similar cases have seen the calf recover 100%. One Heifer has a blemish in One Eye from old Pinkeye scarring but could be handled no problems. Note that the Calves are unmarked and have had no treatments. If you are looking for quality Red Angus Females here they are.
