They have been grass fed since birth, only being supplemented with hay and silage. They present in healthy forward condition, ready to work. I think the stud slogan sums up the cattle perfectly 'Bred to Make Black Cattle Heavier', in the current market you don't have to have a certain breed of cattle but it pays to have big black cattle and that's what they are.
