Buyers these steers were good to handle, draft and assess. Approx 2/3 of the steers stirred up in the crush getting weighed and pre treated, which is to be excepted for a fresh calf off mum. Once let out of the crush they walked back into the mob and were settled. They were good to photo and video and work well through the yards. Only a handful of steers were flighty in the pound, but to be expected for a calf fresh off mum. Yard weaned until delivery on good Lucerne hay.

Buyers please consider this soft crossbred line of 114 (3 decks) lightweight weaner steers. Weighing from 177-335 kgs to avg 237 kgs at assessment. Grasslands accredited steers that will suit backgrounding into heavy feeder weights or carry on and finish. The steers were weaned a few days before assessment, after assessment they will remain yard weaned until delivery on Lucerne hay. These steers have been pre treated with Bomectin Injectable & Doumax pour on to assist with movement into tick free areas, there were no visual signs of adult tick at assessment. Buyers please refer to my photos and videos as part of my description. Buyers please note 5 steers showing small horns/buds. These steers are renowned for their performance and i have full confidence they will grow out to their reputation and will be easy to wean and educate. PCAS eligible, Grasslands accredited.
