Initially heifers presented as cautious and stirry but after using low stress stock handling techniques and walking them in around the yards they quietend down significantly. They walked sensibly into the race and the majority stood quielty while being assessed but there was a small portion that were keen to get back to the mob. None of the cattle presented as dangerous or were hard to handle.

Buyers a lot of 10-11 month old heifers averaging 277kg, sired by a Shorthorn bull out of a quality mix of cows. These heifers are in healthy store condition with a consistent 2 score fat coverage, making them a solid opportunity for buyers looking to fatten and add finish efficiently. They would also suit a cross-bred program as breeders in the future. With good structure, a great start & all the ticks (VB, GF, NA, NE) these heifers would fit well into a range of programs.
