Assessor Comments
A great line of young Angus cross vealer rearing females. An absolute credit to the vendors on the presentation of these cows and the calves that were Sold 18/1/24 .Complete drop of Angus sired calves 71 steers ave 407 kg & 59 hfrs ave 359kg 9-10 months, These cows are rejoined to Charolais Bulls and will continue to produce good progeny for many seasons to come . A rare opportunity to secure cows PTIC that are proven breeders with many years left in them . Whilst these females do not hold any Grassfed accreditations the calves inside can be accredited for both GREENHAMS & JBS Accreditation ( Grassfed only , Antibiotic free) programs. This is Stage 1 of the “Moorlands “ herd dispersal . Pictures of the Calves sold off these cows this week. Max & Joan have been breeding along these lines for decades and produce possibly the best vealer calves in Tasmania . The calves are regularly sold into butcher / processor markets or grown out to export markets.
