All steers were very good to handle through the yards. There was plenty of people around and all animals remained quiet. Once we open the gates and let them run some of them took off through the gates but pulled up once in the paddock.

84 Well bred Angus steers. Mixture of vendor bred and non vendor bred. All weighed between 300kg - 386kg to average 332kg after 5 hours off feed and water. All the vendor bred steers are bred by Banquet bld cows and sired by Te Mania and Chiltern Park bulls. The non vendor bred steers were purchased earlier in the from SA, there is potentially 20 of these. They are life time traceable and grass fed, Antibiotic free is written on the NVD. Their older brothers always grow into big stretchy hvy feeder steers with positive feedback from feedlots. They are all grass fed only and Antibiotic free. The vendor is happy to leave a few out if they don’t all fit on a b double.
