A good quality line of 100% Milk & 2 Tooth, Brahman/Droughtmaster composite steers ready to finish on ration. An early break in November 2021 has helped these steers get to a predominantly strong store to forward store condition, however a disappointing end to the wet season means they have had their time and are ready to go. In hand since Saturday the 19th March and trucked to Cloncurry saleyards on Sunday 20th March. Steers have since been on Sorghum hay (purchased from the Julia Creek district) that will ensure they are well and truly topped back up by time of auction and prior to delivery. Vendor spends plenty of time with cattle as weaners including an XLR8 pellet ration (or similar) at weaning to ensure they know how to eat when it comes time to face up on a bunk. Impressive temperament during all handling procedures. Note: 1 steer was noted to have small fluid retention in off-side scrotum. Buyers should expect these steers to easily convert to a ration and continue on the up.
