Most heifers are score 1's and certainly fit to travel any required distances. For extra long trips would consider a spell.

Heifers were very good to handle in all aspects of the yards and is a direct reflection of the handling they've had. They worked well through the pound and fed around into the curved race and into the crush without any dramas at all. Just the odd heifer that reacted slightly negatively in the crush whilst being NLIS tagged. Witnessed these being yarded up on horses and they were extremely well mannered. Like with most cattle they would need to be blocked up when letting them out.

Buyers please see 3 decks or 114 Droughtmaster/Droughtmaster cross heifers. These heifers stand on moderate bone, have good length and are handled very well. Heifers were classed as last weaners last year for replacement breeders within the herd to join this season. Unfortunately due to seasonal condition and numbers coming forward they have to go. These heifers looked a lot heavier than they weighed so being off light country the compensatory gain going forward will be of benefit to any operation. A genuine run of breeder or backgrounding heifers with all the hard work done, an opportunity not to be missed.
