Assessor Comments
Buyers a great opportunity to secure a 4 deck line of black, USDA, NOP GAP certified, Organic heifers that are all vendor bred Rangelands blood (with the exception of 9 that were purchased at Organic herd dispersal from Moonie). The Rangelands cattle are highly sought after in Organic markets and continually hit target grids at slaughter weights. These heifers would ideally suit to go back into a Breeder herd as they have the Quality and feminine characteristics to be an asset to most herds. Alternatively they would suit conventional Domestic feeder market, or oats heifers to take on to lucrative Organic slaughter. Vendor also has 1 X 3 deck lot of colored sisters in the same sale. Please note 2 heifers were observed with old blight scarring in one eye, several with fly rub marks not considered detrimental and several showing some white markings on udder or underbelly .
