The cattle have noticeably settled since weaning. These heifers we very good to handle and almost had to be pushed out of the way in the yards. Everything moved through the race and crush area without fuss.

Assessor Comments
Presenting a nice line of Angus and Angus cross heifers which could be included in a breeding programme or fed for domestic trade. The heifers have had an excellent couple of seasons to grow out on their mothers and were weaned onto very good feed in February. The bulls were removed in October '21 and there have been no bulls on the property since. Two heifers have an old scar on one eye. Approx 5 heifers are showing more navel than the others. A couple of heifers have some white underneath (see pics). All are neat shaped heifers with a small tail being removed before assessment. On mouthing I only found 1 heifer to be cutting 2 teeth, this being an earlier drop calf when purchased on the cows. The calves present in forward condition and averaged 389kg after 2 hrs in yards with a bottom weight of 334kg and a top of 443kg.
