CALVES WERE PRETTY GOOD TO HANDLE BEING DRAFTED OFF THEIR MOTHERS THEN DRAFTED UP AGAIN FOR ASSESSMENT. TYPICAL OF WEANERS THEY RUSH AROUND THE YARD BUT WILL SETTLE DOWN OVER THE NEXT WEEK WHILST BEING WEANED.

THIS IS THE LEAD DRAFT OF ANGUS HEIFERS BEING OFFERED OUT OF 250 WEANERS BY THE BREEDER. THESE ARE THE TOPS OF THE DROP, NONE HAVE BEEN RETAINED. GOOD QUALITY YARD OF HEIFERS THAT WOULD MAKE A LOVELY BREEDER DOWN THE TRACK, HAVING PLENTY OF GOOD BLOODLINES THROUGHOUT.
WET WEATHER AFFECTED THEM BEING WEANED AT THE SAME TIME AS THEIR SIBLINGS IN THE SAME SALE. I HAVE TAKEN EXTRA % OFF CURFEW TO ADJUST FOR WEANING WEIGHT LOSS.
GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A RUN OF VENDOR BRED, LIFETIME TRACEABLE WEANERS THAT ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE FOR GRASSFED MARKETS.
