HEIFERS FLOWED WELL THROUGH THE YARDS USING COMMON SENSE AND GOOD CATTLE HANDLING KNOWLEDGE. SOME HEIFERS BECAME SLIGHTLY AGITATED WHEN CONFINED IN THE CRUSH WHICH IS SOMETIMES EVIDENT IN BOS INDICUS CATTLE BUT WERE FINE WHEN RETURNED TO THE MOB. NONE OF THE HEIFERS WERE AGGRESSIVE AND COME OUT OF THE MOB.

A VERY NICE LINE OF DROUGHTMASTER AND DROUGHTMASTER X HEIFERS. THESE HEIFERS ARE READY TO JOIN AND WOULD SUIT BOS INDICUS COMMERCIAL HERDS OR ALTERNATIVELY COULD BE FATTENED IN A GRAIN OR GRASS SITUATION FOR A VARIETY OF MSA SLAUGHTER PROGRAMS. THE HEIFERS PRESENT IN FORWARD STORE TO FORWARD CONDITION AND ARE JUST STARTING TO REALLY DO UP WITH THE CHANGE OF SEASON AND CONTINUED GOOD NUTRITION. THE HEIFERS WERE OK TO HANDLE BUT BECAME SLIGHTLY AGITATED WHEN CONFINED AS IS THE CASE WITH SOME BOS INDICUS CATTLE. THERE WAS NOTHING THAT CAME OUT OF THE MOB AND WERE QUITE SETTLED IN A BIGGER YARD (SEE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS).
