Steers were separated from their mothers then assessed immediately afterwards. Some were runny and unsettled and were attempting to reunite with their mothers which in turn made others unsettled. (See videos) There were unrestrained work dogs in or around the yards at assessment.

99 Good quality EU Angus & Angus cross weaner steers. Steers have good weight and growth for their age averaging 333.7kg at delivery. Steers present in strong forward store condition and have never known a set back. Perfect article for either grass or grain finishers.
