Heifers handled well throughout the assessment process. Heifers drafted easily in backyards, flowed throughout force yards & weight station without issue. 2 heifers became agitated in weigh station. Heifers were accommodating in holding yard being maneuvered around on foot for media purposes.

Sale of heifers is due to continuing dry seasonal conditions. Heifers would typically be retained & backgrounded into feeder weights. Sale presents an opportunity to purchase a line of weaned heifers suitable to continue back grounding for either domestic or export feedlot or processing markets.
