The steers were generally good to work through the yards, they flowed well, the odd steer was slightly faster than the rest and stirred up if pressure was put on but quickly settled once the pressure was taken off or let back to the mob.

Buyers, here is a 3 deck line of good quality flatback steers that stand on good bone and present with good frame. The steers were weighed after a 12 hour curfew and have a live weight range of 250kg to 279kg, averaging 265.5kg at assessment. The steers are on the go ahead and are ready to pack the weight on if given the opportunity on good feed. These steers will suit the market of your choice whether it be trade or heavy feeders or to grow out to slaughter weights. Buyers, please note that there is a very small percentage of tighter skinned plainer types in this lot. NOTE: this lot has not been pretreated for tick clearance. If a purchase is made from the tick free zone the vender is willing to give the steers one pretreatment and hold for 7 days, from there on it will be the purchaser's responsibility to abide by tick clearing rules. Please note the vendor also has one 6 deck lot of steers in the same sale.
