Heifers are strong and healthy with no concerns trucking over long distances. store condition with minimal fat cover due to the season. showing no signs of ill health and as stated would have no concerns trucking long distance. heifers would however benefit from a spell if plunge dipping and trucking greater than 800kms.

First trip through the yards at assessment. as would be expected a large percentage of heifers turned around in the race & baulked at the weighbox. All heifers received a Dectomax injectable upon assessment which contributed to the pressure applied.
Generally handled very Well working through the larger yards & forcing yard well. once assessed heifers settled easily & comfortably.
As expected with fresh weaners sudden movements did cause heifers to take fright however settled easily afterwards.

3 decks of VGQ quality, Vendor bred heifers ideal as future breeders or trade heifers.
Heifers are out of a highly functional herd of Santa & Santa Cross cows based on Drensmaine and Canowindra Santa genetics with a percentage by Rondel and Powermac Droughtmasters, small percentage by Ardrossan Angus sires or Senepol & Charolais cross 5 Star Senepol Genetics.
Heifers are calendar year branded #2's and all 6-12months in age.
Heifers are in a strong store condition and have plenty of growth in them with ample bone and frame throughout the mob.
100% weighed at assessment to average 262kg. 11% 185-220kg, 56% 221-280kg and 31% 281kg+ these heifers have a very good reputation in the marketplace and are well known as excellent feed on cattle & heavy slaughter animals.
A great opportunity to purchase a line of high quality Santa Heifers that are well suited as future breeders and ready to join or simply take them through to heavy feeders or slaughter heifers.

Heifers are out of a high quality santa herd of medium to large frame cows based on predominately Drensmaine and Canowindra Santa bloodlines.
Grazing Conditions
Dry body hayed off Mitchell and Flinders grasses with areas of buffell grass predominately along channels and creeks in the paddock. undulating black soil downs.
Returned to: weaning commenced at assessment, Heifers will be fed good quality hay, tailed out daily and educated through the yards until delivery.

A good quality line of young heifers surplus to requirements. these heifers would typically be held through to heavy feeders however given the season the decision has been made to sell lighter than usual and keep grass for mature breeders.
