Weaners worked well through the yards with only a small % becoming agitated in the crush but settled quickly when returned to the mob, put into paddock after assesment and tailed out and will have further handling outside before delivery

Buyers a great opportunity to secure a good line of weaned EU mixed sexes. These weaners are out of large framed Droughtmaster,Simbrah and Droughtmaster /Hereford cross cows by good quality Simbrah, Droughtmaster and Angus Bulls. All the hard work has been done with these weaners with the majority being weaned and educated in yards in the last 10 days and the older/heavier portion weaned in April. Ideally suited to take through to lucrative EU heavy feeders or grass slaughter weights, alternatively the majority of heifer portion could be retained as breeders and would be an asset to most herds. Please note the large spread on weights is not quality related it reflects the 22 heavier weights that were weaned in April ( all heavier cattle mouthed to have milk teeth). One steer observed with weeping eye due to eating out of hay rack not considered detrimental.
