Steers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob. Considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperament

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of Vendor bred weaned steers, with some big compensatory gains to be had after a big curfew and very dry year living on dry grass and supplemented with M8U. Steers showing good bone, depth and length and exceptional weight for age due to the British, Euro /Bos Indicus cross. Bred from Large framed Hereford and Hereford /Santa cross cows by Santa and Euro Bulls, these steers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers when normally sold at heavier weights and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Steers are ideally suited to take through to Lucrative Pasture Fed Slaughter programs having never had antibiotics or grain, alternatively they are Ideal to background for the Woolworths trade feeder Market. Please note a few steers observed with horns were only small weaner horn and two observed with slight blue blight scarring in one eye , neither considered detrimental
