Very good to handle and well educated through the yards, race and crush having had an extensive yard weaning and tail out program at weaning. A small number fidgeted whilst contained for weighing yet settled well when returned to the mob.

Very good quality Santa, Santa cross & Angus/Santa cross feeder steers from a large frame Santa & Santa cross cow herd. HGP free. 43 of the heaviest (500kg plus) steers from the 208 mouthed as milk tooth. Approx 11 carry a #3 brand - late 23 drop with some other brands a bit hard to read yet are all true to the drop young steers. Very good stretch, bone and conformation in strong fresh forward condition. Bulls used include Bendalla, Strathmore, Yarrawonga & Drensmaine Poll Santa Gertrudis bulls. Angus bulls used are Clunie Range sires. Steers with good frame and feed on potential. Highly recommended - If you purchase these you will be back next time.
