THESE STEERS ARE PRESENTED AS PART OF A RUN OF 208 AND WILL BE SPLIT ON A RUN OUT THE GATE DRAFT. THEY WOULD MAKE IDEAL STEERS TO GO ONTO GRAIN OR GOOD PASTURE TO GROW OUT TO BULLOCKS. THEY PRESENT WITH GOOD BONE, EVEN MUSCLING & PLENTY OF FRAME WITH A BIT OF COMPENSATORY GAIN TO BE HAD. THE STEERS HAVE BEEN RUNNING ON HEALTHY MITCHELL GRASS COUNTRY THAT HAS HAD RECENT RAIN & ARE GOING AHEAD ON A RISING PLANE OF NUTRITION. THEY WEIGHED FROM 325KG TO 508KG & AVG 390KG AT ASSESSMENT AFTER 2 HOURS OFF FEED, WITH 45% WEIGHING BETWEEN 385KG & 423KG. THEY ARE NEARLY ALL RED IN COLOUR APART FROM 4 BRINDEL & 8 GREYS. IT WAS NOTED THAT THERE WAS ONE STEER A WART ON HIS EYE BUT WAS NOT AFFECTING HIM AT ALL. PLEASE NOTE THE STEERS ARE DELIVERED ON FARM 16KM WEST OF HUGHENDEN & WILL BE WEIGHED FULL OFF TRUCKS LESS 4%. THE VENDOR WILL ALSO CLEAR THE DIP HERE IF IT IS REQUIRED BY THE PURCHASER.

Brahman Bulls: Koon Kool, Gipsy Planes, Somerview, Palm Creek, Bungarribee, Walton Dows & Eskwood Studs. Droughtmaster Bulls: Rondel & Cairo Studs.

Steers have been grazing on Mitchell grass downs with Buffel grass ridges. They have had 100mm of rain in the last month and have had green feed for 3 weeks now.

Steers are part of annual turn-off.
