Heifers moved freely through yards and required blocking up on the odd occasion. A percentage of heifers became unsettled whilst being weighed but settled once back with others. Cattle will want handling when arrived at new environment and worked before being let out into big paddocks. Heifers are getting worked daily in yards until delivered.

Buyers on offer 109 predominately Ultra Black, Brangus, Composite x weaned backgrounder heifers that will be ideal to background and put away on oats or grass country to grow out. Heifers show very good feminine characteristics and are very tidy around the heads. Buyers please note 2 heifers had old blight scaring in eye at at assessment (not detrimental). Heifers could also be taken through to trade weight feeders or taken through to heavy kill weights suiting the Coles trade. Heifers show good body type with majority of the heifers showing plenty of depth and will grown into a good line of feeder or breeder heifers for intending buyers. Cattle were weaned at assessment 05/06/2022 on good quality oaten hay and will be in yards until delivered.
