Assessor Comments
Good line of lightweight Angus steers to put away. Vendor bred, grain and antibiotic free. Ideally suited to grow out to feedlot entry weights or heavy domestic trade weights. Knowla Angus genetics have been used in the herd focusing on performance and confirmation. Vaccinated with 2 shots of 7 in1 and a multimin, drenched and deloused 1 month ago, LWR at assessment 197-263kg to avg 232kg at assessment. Noted 1 steer with old pinkeye scarring (ncd). Good quality, quiet steers to grow out. weaned at assessment for 4 days on hay and silage then released into small holding paddock until delivery. very wet conditions in the area at present but cattle are holding their own. plenty of breeding in these quality young steers.
