Steers were drafted the afternoon before assessment. During assessment they came up the race well with a small number becoming agitated in the crush. All cattle settled well afterwards & were easy to walk through.

Good line of #1vendor bred HGP free steers that are going forward. Good to handle through the yards. Steers present with adequate growth, very tidy heads in good strong store condition. Cattle have been heavily influenced by the CBV herd and should grow out for various markets.
Approx 60% were red or honey coloured, 25% grey, 7% black, 5% tan, 2% brindle & 2% cream in colour
A small number displayed some old fly bites on neck, small number had a few warts on them. 1 steer displayed double muscling.
