Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of very well bred Angus steers out of a Te Mania blood cow herd by high indexing Rennylea and Speriby North Bulls, A perfect B-Double of quality weaners on offer. The Vendor is a long term supplier of heavy feeder steers to Rangers Valley Feedlot for their Long Fed Program, Due to the dry the vendor is selling weaners for the first time. Rangers Valley have purchased the heavier weaner steers from this draft to background ahead of feeding. Vendor always buys very good high indexing bulls from studs that focus on carcass traits (IMF, EMA, carcass weight). Steers have been weaned over 6 weeks and present in very good forward store condition and had an average weight 292 kg full at assessment. Steers were yard weaned and have been handled extensively having been rotationally grazed since marking last November. Steers are trained to single wire electric fences with Dogs, horses and buggy's used when shifting. Steers are Grass fed and Anti Biotic free suiting all markets
